| 2023-11-14 12:27:00 BERBA STARE MASLINE Stara pjesma kaže da je maslina neobrana, ali je i ove godine dokazano suprotno. Nakon dužeg kišnog razdoblja, u četvrtak 9. studenog 2023. održala se berba stare masline u Kaštel Štafiliću - zaštićenom spomeniku prirode. Berbu je organiziralo Društvo Bijaći u suradnji s Gradom Kaštela, Hrvatskom agencijom za poljoprivredu i hranu (HAPIH), Javnom ustanovom More i krš, Udrugama „Mastrinka“ i „Šušur“, TZ Kaštela, Muzejom Grada Kaštela te SŠ Braća Radić. Stara maslina je uvrštena u projekt „Skriveni habitati“ i unatoč iznimnoj starosti od oko 1500 godina, redovito donosi plodove. Učenici 3.b i 4.d razreda naše škole su se priključili berbi i svojim vrijednim rukama pomogli da se što prije poberu i skupe dragocjeni plodovi ove naše tisućljetne ljepotice. Zbog naleta maslinove muhe te juga koje je danima puhalo, smanjen je urod te je ubrano oko 100 kg maslina.
