EU MEMBERS

1973. comes the first expend when Ireland, Denmark and UK joined to European community. The Community expands its reforms on the areas of social and regional politics and environment protection. 1981.Grecce joined to European Community, and 1986 Spain and Portugal joined to EC.

 

Denmark, Portugal, Greece, Belgium, France, Germany, Ireland, Luxembourg, Italy, Netherlands, Spain, UK signs a Treaty in Maastricht which allows unique market, freedom of moving citizen, abolishing the boards, life, work or studying in foreign countries, cooperation in justice, foreign politics, health, and they're planning a unique currency. That contract stepped into a force 1st November the first 1993. and that day emerged a union – European union.

 

January the first 1995. Austria, Finland, Sweden joined to EU, and may the first 2004. 10 more countries Czech Republic, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Cyprus, Hungary, Malta, Poland, Slovenia and Slovakia. So, today European union consist o 25 countries with approximately 454 million people.

 

 

 

 

Did you know?




Grenland is an only country that has steped out of European union . It steped 1985.(as an autonomy part of Kingdom Denmark, it’s is not a separeted country). Anyhow, no country has steped out of EU! The braving information is that European union confirms communtty as a quality that all have benefits. In the beggings was asumed that it will be maximum 15 members who will protect union, but the countries are more and more.
