These sites were made as part of a fourth Login@Europe competition in organization of Ministry of European integration and CARNet. Theme of this years competition is “Let’s meet EU”. The main goal of our site (except of wining) is to inform visitor about European union, her history and structure, her positive and negative sides, actual themes in EU, and news about process of Croatia’s entering to EU. We hope that with contents from this site we will help you to better understand EU, and remove any negative opinions about EU out of your head.

Deputy of EU for foreign and security politics Javier Solana, said today in Luxemburg that cooperation of Croatia with Haag is of precedent importance for beginning of negotiations. About first meting of workgroup, he said: “We’ll talk with them very openly so we can see is anything doing. Goal is clear, Gotovina should be in Haag.” Public relations of Javier Solana, Christina Galach, announced today’s preparatory meeting EU’s workgroup on stage of experts, who should prepare tomorrow’s meeting.    Written by: Jelena Kopčić.



Ivo Sanader, president of Croatian government, said today for Croatian redaction of British radio BBC that he would arrest and extradite general Gotovina. When journalists asked him, what would he do if he sees Gotovina on the street, he answered: “It’s logic, he would be immediately extradited to Haag.” In addition, they asked him does it mean that he would personally do something about that, he said: “Of course” He said that there’s no information about do Croatian information or security services protect general Gotovina.
