These sites were made as part of a fourth Login@Europe competition in organization of Ministry of European integration and CARNet. These sponsors to gave support to competition: Ericsson, Nikola Tesla, Siemens, Microsoft Croatia, Končar- INEM, T-com, Senso, Olympus, Vidi and www.odlikasi.hr site. Theme of this years competition is “Let’s meet EU”. The main goal of our site (except of wining) is to inform visitor about European union, her history and structure, her positive and negative sides, actual themes in EU, and news about process of Croatia’s entering to EU. We hope that with contents from this site we will help you to better understand EU, and remove any negative opinions about EU out of your head.

Tonight was in the middle of Murter, on Square Rudina, mined monument to anti fascist fighters. Unknown doer allocated explosive appliance to the footer of bronze monument and he activated it with slow-burning stick. Police got the alarm annunciation about this tonight around 2 o’ clock. No one is hurt, but four cars are damaged and windows on coffee bar “Pjer”, shop “Antica” and building of old oil mill crushed. Most of Slovenians think that premier Janez Jansa makes mistake when he supports faster entrance of Croatia to EU, showed new research of public opinion. Research was carried out by agency “Politbarometar” and it is done every month. 64% of Slovenians thinks that prime minister shouldn’t support sooner entrance of Croatia, and 23% of them were with Janez Jansa, although he says that faster entry would be good for Slovenia.   Written by: Jelena Kopčić.



French president Jacques Chirac in Sunday in Tokyo said that the result of referendum about European constitution will be a deep connection of France and French people in decades that are coming. The constitution will be voted on 29. May. On press conference along with the Japanese president Junichiro Koizumi Chirac dramatically emphasized “capital importance of vote of France and the importance that France can have” when she makes her decision in EU. He too said that Chinas demand for breaking up of EU’s embargo on weapon selling is “legitime” and that exportation of weapons and touchy technologies won’t change.   Written by: Jelena Kopčić.
