These sites were made as part of a fourth Login@Europe competition in organization of Ministry of European integration and CARNet. These sponsors to gave support to competition: Ericsson, Nikola Tesla, Siemens, Microsoft Croatia, Končar- INEM, T-com, Senso, Olympus, Vidi and www.odlikasi.hr site. Theme of this years competition is “Let’s meet EU”. The main goal of our site (except of wining) is to inform visitor about European union, her history and structure, her positive and negative sides, actual themes in EU, and news about process of Croatia’s entering to EU. We hope that with contents from this site we will help you to better understand EU, and remove any negative opinions about EU out of your head.

Croatia was this year’s second favorite destination on vacations to Austrians, published Statistik Austria, the state office for statistics in Wien. The favorite destination to Austrians was (same as last year) Italy. 20% of all vacations in Austria were in Italy, while in Croatia were 10% of them.   Written by: Branimir Kasun.



Retired general of Serbian police Sreten Lukić, suspected for crimes in Kosovo, in Monday, after arrival from Beograd, after a year and a half of hiding, then after treating in Clinical center in Beograd was transferred to temporary prison of Haag’s court (ICTY) in Scheveningen. Right now there is 12 suspected Serbians in Haag and government of Serbia pronounced that till 12. April will be transferred the rest of 12 suspected peoples to Haag. 12. Support for entering Croatia to EU grows, showed the latest research of ‘Večernji list’ news papers from 29. and 30. March. By this new research on the referendum about entering Croatia to EU 47,8% of people would be for entering, which is 4% more than two weeks ago. Since last research the number of those that are for entering increased along with the number of those that are against entering. The most of citizens that are for entering is from Zagreb and middle Croatia, and the most of those that are against it are from Dalmacija and Slavonija.    Written by: Branimir Kasun.
