Theme of this years competition is “Let’s meet EU”. The main goal of our site (except of wining) is to inform visitor about European union, her history and structure, her positive and negative sides, actual themes in EU, and news about process of Croatia’s entering to EU. We hope that with contents from this site we will help you to better understand EU, and remove any negative opinions about EU out of your head.

Ex-american state secretary Madeline Albright has commend our cooperation with EU pointing out that Croatia could be a member of EU. ”Croatia has made a splendid progress, but in front of her are still some open questions ,especially their cooperation with Haag court . I’m very curious for further progress in Croatia, democratic elections in their country and a role that Croatia could have in EU,” said the Madeleine Albright warning that there are still some questions considering our cooperation and relations with Haag court that could be a major benchmark of Croatia’s joinment to EU. Support of a Slovenian government about Croatia’s entering to EU, has encountered on disappointment and controversies of a opposition side. Anton Rop, president of the strongest opposition side (liberal democratics) is the most critic in a view of Janshins politics to Croatia. Recently he has turned on Janshins politics because of his stand that negotiations with Croatia and EU should start as soon as possible, meaning that Slovenia is deviating of a dominant course in EU. “The steps that Janshins government had pulled to Croatia’s negotiations with EU, when the issue is about entering to EU; does not contribute of Slovenian affirmation to EU. After losing his majority in a parliament, prime minister Stanislav Gross said that how he’s planning to organize a parliament voting about an affiance of a government. By stepping out of a side of Christians democrats from threeside left center government, Gross has lost a parliament majority. President Klaus is unhappy with Grosses succeed voting about mistrust, that suggested an opposition, thanks to a refraining of a Communist party. A European politicians top started to think about agreement from Schegen. Recently, Schegens agreement has celebrated its 10th anniversary, and anent this anniversary , it’s planning to strict the caution measures and border control because of a larger threat of terrorism and problems of illegal emigration, and they’re hoping the safety of Europe will be in better hands than it was before. Turkey is an only country that got extremely negative «Avis» from EU and Greece got slightly negative “Avis”. Turkey is 20 years already in the same status in process of entering to EU. She has more problems at entering, for example: they don’t care enough about human rights, they have political problems about island Cyprus. EU is asking from Turkey to solve problem about Cyprus on an acceptable way for Greece and Turkey.
