Theme of this years competition is “Let’s meet EU”. The main goal of our site (except of wining) is to inform visitor about European union, her history and structure, her positive and negative sides, actual themes in EU, and news about process of Croatia’s entering to EU. We hope that with contents from this site we will help you to better understand EU, and remove any negative opinions about EU out of your head.

Norway has until now, gone two times on referendums (about entering in EU). On both referendums they’ve voted against entering to EU. Interesting is that both times the result of referendums was 51:49 foe non-entering to EU. Anyway, Norway is a rich country (because of their oil fields)that helps a lot to Europe in financial point, and so EU treats her as a member, only that Norway has bigger degree of independence from others members of EU.

The presidents of Finland, Austria, Portugal, and Latvia supported yesterday French people to vote for European constitution, because that document guarantees the bigger stability of Europe. Presidents gave their appeal because there is a possibility of rejecting European constitution in France. Rejecting the constitution might disturb efforts for bigger political and economical integration of Europe and might weaken the common currency Euro. 
EU’s Working committee for tracking Croatia’s cooperation with Haag’s court will meet in Tuesday in Luxembourg. They will hear the arguments of government of Croatia and Carla del Ponte about Croatia’s fulfilling of hers last term for starting the negotiations. Foreign minister and also a minister of European integrations Kolinda Grabar-Kitarović said that Croatia is “hurrying to prepare the arguments and evidences on pleadings of Carla del Ponte”, while foreign minister of Luxembourg Jean Asselborn said that possibility of starting negotiations in June will depend on this meeting in Tuesday.
