Theme of this years competition is “Let’s meet EU”. The main goal of our site (except of wining) is to inform visitor about European union, her history and structure, her positive and negative sides, actual themes in EU, and news about process of Croatia’s entering to EU. We hope that with contents from this site we will help you to better understand EU, and remove any negative opinions about EU out of your head.

A survey carried out in Netherlands showed that on the referendum about EU Constitution, 58,2% of them would vote against and 41,8% for Constitution. It was the first survey that predicted a win of Constitution averters in Netherlands. In previous surveys that ordered government, a win of Constitution was predicted for the supporters. Netherlands referendum has a consultation meaning and its result doesn’t oblige government. But two strongest sides in the country, Christians democrats and the opposition laburist side have said that they’ll take the vote results responsibility if the voters responses 30% bigger. Croatian Prime Minister Sanader will settle with Croatian delegation in Luxembourg, where he’ll meet with luxembourgian Prime Minister and with a European council chairman Jean-Claude Juncker and with EU work group presenters for estimating Croatia’s cooperation with Haag Court. It’ll be the first meeting of EU work group in charged for the estimate of Croatia’s cooperation with Haag. Work group consist of present presenters and two future EU presidencies, Luxembourg, Great Britain and Austria, with high EU presenter for outdoor politics and for common safety Javier Solana and with Confidant for extend Olli Rehn. Firstly Work group will meet with a head haag prosecutor Carla del Ponte, and then with a Croatian delegacy, lead by Prime Minister Ivo Sanader. At the end, Work group will meet separate. Bulgaria and Romania signed yesterday in Luxemburg access agreement with EU. They should become full members on January 1st 2007. Agreement, which has 860 pages, was signed by premiers and presidents of Bulgaria and Romania, Georgij Paravnov, Simeron Sakskoburgotstki, Traian Basescu and Calin Tariceanu in attendance of ministers for foreign affairs for members of EU. European commission is in charge for control of application of charged obligations, and it said it will, while making of recommendation, take in account opinion of Parliament.
