Theme of this years competition is “Let’s meet EU”. The main goal of our site (except of wining) is to inform visitor about European union, her history and structure, her positive and negative sides, actual themes in EU, and news about process of Croatia’s entering to EU. We hope that with contents from this site we will help you to better understand EU, and remove any negative opinions about EU out of your head.

As part of “Day of open education 2005.” in XVIII. Gymnasium today was processed final part of a program “Croatia’s trace around Europe” and to students and their professors about importance of entering to EU talked Croatian president Stjepan Mesić. He supported actions of students and professors to during the ‘Day of open education in their gymnasium‘ they come to some new discoveries and to spread the communication with Europe. He said that by doing that we get more even closer to EU. 
The chiefs of countries and governments of 25 countries that are members of EU decided to set up a working group for Croatia that would track a level of cooperation with Haag’s court, said Luxembourg’s Prime Minister Jean-Claude Juncker. That group should consult with Croatia and Haag’s court and then give a report to a Council of Europe, which will then decide about further negotiations. 
Slovenia’s Prime Minister Janez Janša said after yesterdays meeting of leaders of “European regiment party” in Bruxelles that undefined situation in which Croatia is now after delaying the negotiations isn’t good not only for Croatia but even for whole region. They all accepted that Council of Europe a part of a informal discussion talk about this situation. Janša said that EU with her decision wanted to give a signal to other countries from the territory of formal Yugoslavia that they won’t yield to anyone. 
The Three of EU is soon coming to Zagreb to see how Croatia cooperates with International crime tribunal. That is a term for starting negotiations with EU, which Council of Europe set up in December. A decision to come to Croatia The Three of EU was made at yesterdays.
