Theme of this years competition is “Let’s meet EU”. The main goal of our site (except of wining) is to inform visitor about European union, her history and structure, her positive and negative sides, actual themes in EU, and news about process of Croatia’s entering to EU. We hope that with contents from this site we will help you to better understand EU, and remove any negative opinions about EU out of your head.

The French President today steps up his campaign for a "yes" vote in next month's referendum on the European constitution. Jacques Chirac will tonight appear on national television for a debate with young people. The two-hour programme in a prime time slot is being described as an important chance for the president to try to turn the tide of public opinion. A series of polls over the past few weeks have suggested that as many as 54 percent of people are likely to vote against the constitution . 
Croatian premier Ivo Sanader said on the opening of Crans Montana Forum on Wdnesday evening that Croatia expects negotiations with EU and that means that it’s sure that it lives European standards. He said that “European nations have right on future without wars, future of peace and prosperity for all citizens.” “If we expect the beginning of negotiations with EU, then it means that we are sure that we in Croatia today live European standards.” He said that EU till now takes care of every part of continent so he thinks that this projecz is worthwhile and on that should be worked. He hopes that commttee,which will meet soon, will start a dialog in which Croatia wants to prove that it’s totally law contry that respectes its laws and international commitments.
