Since we are true project lovers, the end of November was a great time for yet another amazing project. This time we decided to make our own houses and present them to the rest of the class. In English, of course.

The project included making a house on our own by using only the material we had at home. The house had to consist of some of the rooms (if not all) we mentioned during our English classes. So, our houses consisted of kitchens, living rooms, bathrooms, halls, bedrooms, attics, children’s rooms as well as some outdoor spaces like a front yard or a garage.

We used different kinds of materials such as cardboard, styrofoam, plastic, paper, cotton wool, dried leaves, and so on. There were paper straws, empty eye drops bottles, plastic corks, paper tissues, toilet rolls, toothpicks, fabric, and many more.

After we finished our houses, we had a stressful assignment of presenting them in front of the whole class and the teacher. Did we say it was all in English?

Despite the stress we felt and the shaking of our hands, our teacher says that we did an amazing job and that she is very proud of us and the way we approached this project and carried it out to the end. And guess what? We are also very proud of ourselves!
