The 7^th class students Darin Goršić, Dina Marković and Doris Klaić as well as the 8^th class students Vanja Vučinić, Aleksandra Ninković, Vladimir Kljajić, Zorana Nikšić, Dajana Jakšić, Marko Karabatković and Božana Gvero took part in the 2^nd state competition in short story writing (stories up to 2000 words). They could write on any topic they wanted. The competition was organized by the Croatian association of teachers of the English language and lasted from 15 January to 15 February. The selection board members were Lana Kulišić, Deni Kirinčić, Miranda Barac, Dunja Klarić, and Adrijana Roždijevac, whose assignment was to give point to the stories according to the prescribed elements (vocabulary, grammar, spelling and punctuation, text organization, and creativity). Our students achieved excellent results and got their certificates of participation, and their stories were published in HUPE in the  HUPE in the Storyland publication, which is available for download at the following link or you can simply download it from the attachment to this text.
