The 6^th class students combined the English language and zoology and id yet another project. Exotic and endangered is the project on animals we find exotic such as beluga, bonovo, pangolin, saola, vaquita, narwhal, and so on which are vulnerable, highly endangered, or on the verge of extinction. Each student got one animal and they had to do research to find out about the animal’s habitat, body, diet, and one peculiarity that they find interesting. Afterward, they had to combine all the data they found and make a poster or a presentation. Some used Canva and Adobe Spark while others opted for PowerPoint.  The poster/presentation served as a visual background while they presented orally in front of the whole class. They had to be attentive regarding their pronunciation and the presentation skills which they are getting better with each project.

Besides the research and IT skills, they show certain improvement in their oral skills as well as public appearance. On top of all, they earnt many things about animals they haven’t heard of before the project. And not only that…but they taught their teacher something new!
