Pupils of Branch school Nikola Tesla from Moravice who attend additional classes in English marked Remembrance Day, which is traditionally celebrated on November 11. In honor of the fallen soldiers, events worldwide are held annually on this date, which begins at precisely 11 a.m. Since the soldiers lost their lives in the poppy fields in Normandy, in honor, and memory of the fallen, the event participants wear red poppies. The event is marked by two compositions - The Rouse and The Last Post.
Our students tried to write acronym poems in English, which, read from top to bottom, make up the words Remembrance (=memory) and Poppy (=mak).
Creating songs of that kind, they tried something new and exciting and realized they were pretty good at it.
