We had a hard time wrapping up the whole thing and the whole journey you all described. But, we also had great fun exploring different endings - and believe me, they were wild and out of this world. We played it safe at the end and went with the HAPPILY EVER AFTER...
It might be a better idea to make a basic story arc at the begining (exposition - rising action - climax - resolution) - for our future story telling adventures. This play is more, well linear, so we stayed true to the basic form of the quest story.
