First up was the rosemary, for which they had earlier prepared the soil and cleaned the greenhouse, and today it was time for rooting of the plants and measuring the quality of the soil. In addition to hard-working hands, basic tools and knowledge, a digital PH meter helped here, which was purchased with the funds of Norwegian donors as part of the project "STEM - my education", which is being implemented in Primary school of Josip Kozarac for the third month.

   Activities within the project "STEM - my education" are also carried out by "Young biologists", under the expert mentorship of teacher Vesna Nikolić. Under the magnifying glass of young biologists, they found the support system of a soft sponge - threads of spongin and plant cells of the onion skin...

   The young biologists made the preparation themselves, colored it and examined it under a microscope. The long queue in front of the microscope is now four times shorter - because the one microscope that the school had earlier has now been reinforced with three new microscopes - purchased with funds from a Norwegian donor as part of the project "STEM - my education".
