SECOND WORKSHOP ABOUT GIFTED PUPILS WAS HELD
The project "STEM - my education" is moving forward, and with it the activities that improve the skills of teachers in teaching STEM in class, but also in other areas. One of the topics that most teachers want to know more about is working with gifted pupils.
The second education in a series of workshops on gifted students was held on January 17th at Primary school of Josip Kozarac, Semeljci, and the specific topic was "Organization of work with gifted pupils".
What are the proper ways of working with the gifted?
How is potential giftedness often not realized giftedness?
Why is it not enough to give them more knowledge?
Why is it common for gifted students to have behavioral problems?
Some answers could be found out at the education given by the Master of Psychology Tihana Starčević from the "Klikeraj" Association, which is particularly involved in working with gifted students. The education represented the continuation of the implementation of the project "Activities to develop the abilities of teachers and other educational workers in STEM teaching", as part of the project "STEM - my education", which was financed in 100 percent by the funds of the Kingdom of Norway, and as part of the financial mechanism of the European Economic Area and the Norwegian Financial Mechanism.
