HOW TO APPROACH GIFTED PUPILS?
After workshops on recognizing giftedness in pupils and organizing work with them, the third in a series of educations on gifted pupils, was devoted to approaches to the education of gifted students.
Challenge, choice, interest, pleasure and personal significance - i.e. 5 basic concepts of approach, are the topics with which the education started on January 31, and continued with the basic principles that all programs dedicated to gifted students should meet.
What are the components of program planning? How is the assessment of needs carried out? How to conduct preliminary training of employees?
...and how is all this "integrated" into the existing guidelines in Croatia?
These are just some of the topics taught to members of the project team of primary schools from Semeljci, Trnava and Selci Đakovački, as part of the project "STEM - my education".
This education about gifted students was also held by expert associates of the "Klikeraj" Association.
