Osnovna škola "Vladimir Nazor" Đakovo

On September 26, 2019 in our school was held the European Day of Languages organized by teachers of foreign languages with their students and guests. The guests were students and teachers from Primary school Dobriša Cesarić in Osijek, Primary school Dora Pejačević in Našice and Primary school Ivana Brlić Mažuranić in Strizivojna. The guests were awaited in the school library and then went to Strossmayers square where the students asked the town citizens questions about languages and talked to them in a foreign language. They took photos in front of St Peters cathedral and made some new friends. The point of this gathering was to move students into learning new languages and to learn about other cultures. We thank all participants for doing this project with us and we hope to work together in the future.
