What is logo?

A logo is a simple visual mark that is used to identify an organization or a company. Logos can be purely graphic or composed of the name of the organization.

In the past, only big organizations could afford to make their own logo. They were, in some cases, very detailed drawings with many objects or colours. The more was considered the better. 

And today?

Nowadays, the most popular and successful companies say that simple is better, because everything is moving so fast and they have less time to impress the customers. A simple logo design is faster to read and easier to remember and identify.

What is our logo and why did we choose it?

We chose Zagorje turkey for our logo. Zagorje turkey is a turkey         breed native to Croatia. Before the World War II, Croatia was one of the biggest exporters of Zagorje turkeys. Since the 1990s, they are protected and can only be bred in our region and Krapina-Zagorje County.

And why did we name our family farm Horvat?

Horvat is the most common surname in our region, as well as in Croatia.
