About the project

Project is for children in preschool. Project about hand puppet from different countries which is on english lessons with children and helps teacher to learn words, repeat them, playing and singing songs with pupils.

Aims

Development of social skills –group and pair work – in order to achieve a common goal, playing harmoniously in groups, building knowledge about the world (awakening sensitivity towards peers from other countries), developing skills to express oneself through music and arts (singing, nursery rhymes, drawing, painting), supporting activity and courage, arousing interest in the English language

Work process

All partners, together with their groups, introduce themselves and their hand puppet with which the children work in class.
They will take a photo, record their favourite song, demonstrate their favourite game, prepare artwork representing a project partner’s puppet, once a week each activity will be posted on Twinspace.
What is more, we will be in constant touch with project partners, contacting them through Twinspace and e-mail.
The project will last for approximately 2-3 months, once or twice a month we will organise a videoconference.
I will encourage the children to work in a group to present their friend from English lessons.
