Riga has 840 000 citizens and with it is the governing, traffic node and main harbor. City is very peculiar what recognizes by its beautiful architecture and its liveliness. Loads of green surfaces apropos parks, city makes prettier. Most of the populations are the Russians, so no wonder if you hear Russian speak on the Latvian streets. Latvia has its national costumes and national music. The most famous national music is called Dainas, and in it often talks about deity from their mythology, but they don't have heroes in it.
The president's residency in Latvia is set up in a Castle of Riga that is one of the most specific and the eldest building of 14th century. It's familiar by its history and architecture. The castle was renovated more than once. Latvian statue of Liberty made Karlis Zale. Its height is 42 m, a woman with three stars symbolizes regional parts of Latvia. The statue is a symbol of anti-soviet resistance in the 80s. People consider him an altar of national freedom. Latvia was in the past, while she was under the authorities of Soviet union, familiar by its motorcycles production. After the Latvia's separation from the Soviet union, Latvia has economically weaken and that tradition has been lost.
